The Lodge
Unyati Safari Lodge lies amongst an oasis of enormous Jackalberry and Marula trees with its lush green lawns and meticulously maintained gardens. The traditional thatched roof main building plays host to the lounge, dining room, curio shop and bar. Two spacious boma’s for those dinners under the African stars. The swimming pool and pool bar is a popular place on those hot summer days.
Guests are accommodated in either comfortable chalets or safari tents. Accessibility to the lodge is simplified with less than 2km of well-maintained dirt road, suitable for coaches and regular motor vehicles.

Children
Children of all ages are welcome. Children between the ages of 2 and 12 years of age sharing a room with two full-paying adults will be charged 50% of the per person sharing rate. Children over 12 years of age pay the full adult rate. Children in their own room pay standard adult rates.

Climate
Hot and humid, summer is known as the wet season, occurring from October through April. The dry and mild winter months, from May to September, are considered the dry season. It is necessary to pack warm clothing if visiting during winter, as early morning and evenings tend to be cold. During summertime, thunderstorms occur during most afternoons.
Directions
From Pretoria:
Take the N4 heading East toward Nelspuit (approx. 315km). When you reach Nelspruit continue on the N4 for 75km towards Malelane / Komatipoort as if you were heading towards Mozambique. Just before you reach the town of Hectorspruit you will turn right onto the Jeppes Reef Road, follow this road for 5 km, then turn left onto the Strydomblok Road, continue on this road for 10km where you will find Unyati Safari Lodge on your right-hand.
From Johannesburg (OR Thambo International Airport):
Take the R21 towards Johannesburg, then get onto the N12 to Emalahleni, which becomes the N4. Continue straight towards Nelspruit. Distance from OR Thambo to Nelspruit is approximately 325km. When you reach Nelspruit continue on the N4 for 75km towards Malelane / Komatipoort as if you were heading towards Mozambique. Just before you reach the town of Hectorspruit you will turn right onto the Jeppes Reef Road, follow this road for 5 km, then turn left onto the Strydomblok Road, continue on this road for 10km where you will find Unyati Safari Lodge on your right-hand.
